Nathan Middleton is a full-time Holy Ghost filled evangelist. He’ll tell you that his passion in life is to "preach Jesus and see the lost phenomenally transformed by the Word of God." Ignited by the presence of God, Middleton spreads the "Fire of God" wherever God leads him. In simpler terms, he desires to win souls no matter the cost. If you were to ask Middleton what his job title is, he would say, "Spiritual Arsonist." But that wasn’t always who he was. In 1976, born at just over two pounds, a struggling life began for Middleton; doctors gave little hope for his survival, but to everyone’s surprise, he beat the odds and grew out of the premature state. As a young boy, Middleton began to steal candy from the store when his "Pawpaw" told him he couldn’t have it; evil was already present in young Middleton’s life. When he was eight years old, he stole a vehicle from a family member; rebellion had set in. At the age of 15, Middleton started smoking and was introduced to methamphetamines-a drug that would control and ruin the next 8 years of his life.
He quit school in the middle of his junior year and began doing drugs full time. In 1996, Middleton’s family received the devastating phone call that he had been in an automobile accident and more than likely would not survive. The driver was immediately killed. Just when the Satan thought it was over and he had won, Middleton, despite four pints of blood being lost due to complete laceration of his tongue, managed to pull through. After being released from the hospital in the short amount of time of two weeks, he was back to his old routine-peddling drugs and doing them as well. In 1999, Middleton was arrested for selling methamphetamines. He was faced with 20 years in prison. His lawyer requested that he go through a program called "Teen Challenge," a Christian-based program. With hesitation, the judge agreed. Middleton was reluctant to go, but went, as the alternative was reprehensible.
On February 24, 1999, the Teen Challenge group went to a local church and Middleton felt something-something he’d never felt before; the presence of God. He’d been told that Jesus died for his sins, but could that really be true? That night, he gave his heart to Jesus Christ and soon after received the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Before he graduated from the Teen Challenge program, Middleton was called into the ministry.
Since his Rebirth, Middleton has spread the gospel like Wild Fire through the state of Arkansas. He has also ministered in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Mexico, and Russia where he witnessed healing and deliverance, but most of all he has watched God set ablaze the hearts of men, women and children.
Middleton is assisted in the ministry by his wife of 6 years, Amanda as well as his children; Chloe; 4 years old and Jakob; 1 year old.***********************************************************************************
